Naomi is a board-certified music therapist, educator, and musician in the Iowa City area. Naomi has been enamored with music from an early age. From as young as 4 years old, Naomi wandered around her home singing, making up songs, and tinkering with various instruments. Throughout her adolescence, Naomi developed a penchant for picking up and learning every instrument should get her hands on, eventually leading her to Colorado State University, where she would obtain a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy with an emphasis in Bassoon studies.

Through her career as a music therapist, Naomi has developed a love of the truthful art of songwriting and live music performance. Combining her experiences in music therapy with her classical music training, Naomi is a versatile and soulful performer. Her eclectic style hints at influences from pop, folk, and soul. Her lyrics lean into vulnerability and draw on the small and big truths of being human. She believes one of the purest ways to connect through music is through performance, and she excels at crafting community-driven musical performances that feel intimate and connected.
